The Thermomix TM7 did not just change how people cook. It changed my career, my confidence, and my entire direction. When Vorwerk unveiled the TM7 at a packed Valentine’s Day event in Berlin on 14 February 2025, I was watching as a Thermomix Advisor determined to help UK & Ireland families discover what this machine could do. Twelve months later, I stood on stage as the number one Thermomix Advisor in the UK and Ireland, holding an award I had never dared imagine winning. This is the story of how my journey with LifeWithThermomix and the TM7 unfolded; and why it matters if you are considering buying one.
The TM7’s record-breaking first year
Before I share my personal journey, it is worth understanding just how significant the TM7’s first year has been for Vorwerk and the Thermomix community worldwide.

By the end of October 2025, Vorwerk had 128,000 active Thermomix Advisors worldwide, more than at any point in the company’s history.
The TM7 also collected eleven major international awards in its first year, including the Red Dot Award, the UX Design Award, five Plus X Awards, the Australian Good Design Gold Award, and the German Design Award 2026. Trusted Reviews gave it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars, calling it a machine that “can do almost anything, and do it well.”
This was the backdrop against which I had my own remarkable year.
A bit about me and how I got here
My name is Beatriz Tarrega, and I am a Spanish-born ,mother of four children, living in the UK. I originally trained and worked as a veterinary surgeon before stepping away from my career to focus on my growing family. When my fourth child arrived in 2014, I purchased my first Thermomix — and it transformed my life! Less stress in the kitchen, time saving and amazing inspiration, I fell in love with it, I could carry on cooking from scratch to feed my family and spend much more time with the kids.
What started as a practical solution for a busy family kitchen became something much bigger. Years later, I became a Thermomix Advisor, combining my natural passion for food with a genuine desire to help other UK families save time, eat better, and feel more confident in the kitchen. But the TM7 year was different. It was the year everything accelerated.
Las Vegas: winning the trip to the US TM7 launch
The first major milestone came in June 2025, when I won a Vorwerk sales competition that earned me a place at the US launch of the Thermomix TM7 in Las Vegas. This was not simply a trip;it was recognition of months of hard work and an invitation to be part of one of the most significant product launches in Thermomix history.
The US TM7 launch, which took place in September 2025, marked the moment the Thermomix TM7 became available across the United States at $1,699. Being selected to attend was a significant achievement, reserved for top-performing individuals in the United Kingdom, I was the number one and only advisor that won this fabulous trip.
For me, the Las Vegas experience was more than a celebration. It reinforced my commitment to helping UK customers discover the TM7. I saw first-hand how the machine was being received by an entirely new audience, and the excitement in Las Vegas mirrored what I had been seeing in UK kitchens since April; people genuinely surprised by what this machine could do.
💡 My experience: Walking into that Las Vegas launch event was surreal. Here I was, a mum of four from the UK who had left veterinary medicine, standing among the best Thermomix Advisors in the USA, watching an entirely new market fall in love with a machine I had already been championing for months. It was the moment I realised just how far this journey could go.
Executive Club and Diamond Elite: reaching the top tier
Thermomix operates a structured recognition programme for its advisors in the UK and Ireland, with achievement levels that reflect sustained excellence in sales, customer service, and community building. In 2025, I achieved two of the most prestigious tiers in the programme.
Executive Club status recognises advisors and team leaders who reach an exceptional level of sales performance and customer impact. It is an exclusive tier that only a small percentage of the UK and Ireland advisor community qualifies for. I earned this status through consistent, month-on-month delivery, not a single spike, but sustained work across the entire year.
Diamond Elite status goes further still. This is the highest individual achievement tier available to Thermomix Advisors and team leaders in the UK and Ireland, reserved for the very top performers. Achieving Diamond Elite in the same year as Executive Club demonstrates a level of dedication that I am incredibly proud of.
These are not participation awards. They reflect hundreds of demonstrations I personally conducted, thousands of customer conversations, and a real impact on how families across the UK and Ireland cook and eat. Every demo I gave, every follow-up call I made, and every customer I helped through their first weeks with a TM7 contributed to reaching these milestones.
Inside the Vorwerk factory: seeing where the TM7 is made
One of the absolute highlights of my year was visiting the Vorwerk factory in Wuppertal, near Dusseldorf, Germany, the birthplace of every Thermomix ever made.
Vorwerk’s main plant in Wuppertal-Laaken is where research, development, and production all sit under one roof. Key components including the motor and mixing blades are manufactured here, with engineers focused on reaching the highest possible levels of quality. The factory tour gave me the privilege of seeing the meticulous craftsmanship and dedication to quality that go into every Thermomix.
For me as a Thermomix Advisor, visiting Wuppertal was transformational. It bridged the gap between demonstrating a product and truly understanding how it is engineered. When I now explain to a customer why the TM7’s motor is quieter, why the blades are precision-engineered, or why the build quality justifies the £1,349 investment, I speak from direct experience of having watched these components being made.
💡 My experience: Standing in the Wuppertal factory, watching TM7 units move through production, was one of the most defining moments of my career. I could see everything I tell my customers about build quality happening right in front of me, this machine is engineered to last decades , and seeing it first-hand makes that promise feel completely real. I wish every customer could see what I saw that day.
Number one in the UK and Ireland: the January 2026 Awards
The culmination of this extraordinary year came at the Thermomix UK and Ireland Awards Ceremony in January 2026, where I was awarded the Number One Thermomix Advisor in the UK and Ireland.
I still find it hard to put into words what that moment felt like. This award recognises the top-performing individual advisor and team leaders across the entire UK and Ireland network, a community of thousands of active advisors. To earn this distinction in the same year as the TM7 launch, against a backdrop of record-breaking demand and the most competitive advisor landscape in Vorwerk’s history, is something I could not have imagined when I started this journey.
The award reflects not just the number of machines I helped place in homes, but the quality of the customer experience I strive to deliver through LifeWithThermomix.
