Interested in buying a Thermomix in the UK or Ireland, but not sure about the process or how the finance offer works? You’re in the right place. In this post, we’ll explain step-by-step how to buy a Thermomix TM6 or TM7, including financing options, current deals, and promotions available. Purchasing a Thermomix is a bit different than buying other kitchen gadgets – it’s sold via advisors with flexible payment plans – but it’s straightforward once you know how. Our goal is to help you get your Thermomix easily and affordably, so you can start cooking with it ASAP!

Buying a Thermomix: Advisors and Official Channels
First, an important note: Thermomix can only be purchased through official Thermomix Representatives (Advisors) in the UK and Ireland. You cannot buy a new Thermomix TM6 or TM7 in retail stores or non-official websites. Vorwerk, the manufacturer, uses a direct sales model. This means to order your Thermomix, you’ll be working with a trained Thermomix Advisor (like us at LifeWithThermomix). The Advisor will handle the ordering process for you through the official Thermomix UK/Ireland system.
Why buy through an Advisor? For one, it ensures you get an authentic product with full warranty. Additionally, you get personalised service: Advisors often offer a free demonstration, guide you on how to use the machine, and provide after-purchase support (recipes, tips, troubleshooting). It’s a premium service that comes with this premium appliance. As a customer, the price you pay is the same set retail price – but you gain a direct contact (your Advisor) who makes the experience smoother and is there to help even after you receive your Thermomix.
In the UK and Ireland, Thermomix UK (Vorwerk UK & Ireland) processes all orders via advisors. So, the first step to buying is usually to contact an official Thermomix Advisor. This could be through a referral, a local advisor in your area, or by reaching out on the Thermomix UK website to get connected. If you’re reading this on LifeWithThermomix, feel free to contact us via the contact form or book a demo, and we’ll assist you with your purchase.
Purchasing Options: Pay in Full vs Finance vs “Earn” Your Thermomix
Once you’re in touch with an Advisor, you have a few payment options to choose from when buying a Thermomix. Here are the common ways you can buy:
1. Pay in Full (One-Off Payment):
The simplest method: you pay the entire amount upfront by debit or credit card. The Thermomix TM6 is no longer available and the TM7 is £1,349. Advisors can take payment securely via phone or send you a payment link (which goes through Vorwerk’s official system). Accepted cards: typically Visa or Mastercard; (Amex is usually not accepted). Once payment is made, your order is placed and you’ll get an order confirmation from Vorwerk. The TM7 comes with 2-year warranty standard; any extended warranty offers may be introduced later.
2. Finance – Interest-Free Installments:
Thermomix UK frequently runs finance promotions, which let you spread out the cost with interest charged. This is a very popular option because it makes owning a Thermomix more budget-friendly by breaking the cost into monthly chunks. As of 18th July, flexible finance is available with a £350 deposit, and interest-free instalments over 3 (£333), 6 (£166.5) and 12 (£83.25) months. In addition, Novuna 12 (£89.69), 24 (£47.95) & 36 (34.13) months finance plans at 14.9% APR are also available.
- How to apply: Your Advisor will either send you a secure application link or fill out the finance application with you over the phone/Zoom. The financing is often done via Novuna Finance in the UK. The application involves a soft credit check first (so you can see if you’re likely to be approved without impacting your credit score). If it looks good, you proceed to a formal application and e-sign the agreement. It’s all electronic and quick – usually an instant decision. You’ll need to be a UK resident, over 18, with proper ID and a UK bank account. (For residents of Ireland, financing may be handled slightly differently or require UK-linked credit – check with your Advisor. Some Irish customers use a credit card or personal loan for 0%, since the Novuna financing is UK-specific.)
- Repayment: With 0% APR, Payments typically start 30 days after your Thermomix is delivered, giving you time to enjoy the machine before the first payment. There are no hidden fees and usually no penalty for early repayment either (you could pay it off earlier if you want). Important: The 0% finance offers are often time-limited promotions. Currently, it is being offered as of 18th July. Be sure to check if the 0% deal is still active at the time of your purchase – if you’re working with us, we will let you know the latest offers.
3. Standard Finance (Interest-Bearing):
If 0% is not available for the model you want (for example, the TM7 is not on 0% offer at launch), or if you prefer a longer term than offered interest-free, you can opt for standard finance. Thermomix’s partner Novuna offers 12, 24, 36-month plans at 14.9% APR typically. You can also sometimes choose a deposit amount to reduce monthly payments (e.g. TM7 requires buyers putting a £350 deposit and financing £999). With interest, your monthly payments will be a bit higher – for instance, a TM7 with £350 down works out to ~£47.95 per month for 24 months (14.9%)**. Your Advisor will provide exact figures based on term and any deposit. While you do pay more in total with interest, this option exists to give you flexibility if 0% isn’t available or if stretching payments makes it easier for you. The application process is the same as above.
- Tip: If you’re considering TM7 on finance and have the means, you could do a shorter-term “interest-free” split via credit card or personal arrangement (for example, some customers use a 12-month 0% purchase credit card to essentially finance the TM7 at 0% for themselves). Otherwise, a small deposit + finance can make the TM7 more accessible – just be aware of the interest cost.
4. “Earn” a Thermomix – Advisor Program:
Another unique option is to become a Thermomix Advisor and earn your machine for free or at a discount. Vorwerk has an Advisor incentive program where if you join as a rep and sell a certain number of machines, you can get your own Thermomix at no cost (or a reduced price). For example, in the UK, a new Advisor who sells 6 Thermomix units within their starter period (e.g. 90-120 days) earns a free TM7. Even selling a few can earn partial discounts. To start, you typically pay a refundable deposit (around £150) to get a Thermomix loan unit, then you host demos and sell to others. It’s a bit like a “work-to-earn” program. This route isn’t for everyone, but if you’re passionate about the product and have people to share it with, it’s an opportunity to get a Thermomix without paying full price in cash. Plus, you can make commissions on additional sales. Many of our Advisors in the UK/Ireland started as customers who chose to earn their Thermomix. If this intrigues you, ask about the Advisor program. It’s a commitment (essentially a side-hustle job for a few months), but it can literally pay off your Thermomix!
In summary, most buyers will choose either paying outright or financing (option 1 or 2/3), but it’s great to know you have multiple paths to owning a Thermomix.
Current Deals and Promotions (UK & Ireland)
Now let’s talk promotions – what special offers can you take advantage of right now?
🥣 TM6: The final “farewell TM6” promo exprired on 29th June as Vorwerk discontinued TM6 sales in the UK.
📦 TM7 Pre-Order and Launch Gifts: For the Thermomix TM7, since it’s just launching, there aren’t “discounts” – the demand is far exceeding supply. However, by pre-ordering early, you ensure you get your TM7 as soon as possible (important if you want to be among the first owners). Thermomix UK did offer a grace for very recent TM6 buyers: if you bought a TM6 in 2025 and missed that a TM7 was coming, they allowed those who hadn’t received their TM6 to switch to a TM7 queue. But that’s a specific case. For new buyers now, a pre-order is the way to secure a TM7. There is no extra bundle with TM7 at launch, but you get the pride of owning the newest model. Occasionally, Vorwerk might include a small gift for very early pre-orders (for example, some markets gave a cookbook or apron) – ask your Advisor if any such perks are available. The main “promo” for TM7 is simply that finance is available (with interest-free divided payments as of 18th July) and that you can be one of the first to have it.
🎁 Referral Program: Not exactly a purchase promo, but if you have a friend who also wants a Thermomix, Vorwerk sometimes has referral bonuses for both the referrer and referee. For instance, referring a friend might get you a gift or extra accessory when they purchase. If you have Thermomix-owning friends, check with them or your Advisor if something like this is running.
🏷️ Trade-Ins: Frequently asked – can I trade in an old Thermomix (TM5/TM31) toward a TM6 or TM7? Officially, Thermomix UK does not have a trade-in rebate program. However, your old model might have good resale value on second-hand markets which you could use to fund a new one. As a promo, Vorwerk sometimes offers a “2nd bowl for upgrading TM5 owners” or similar – but no price trade-in. It doesn’t hurt to ask your Advisor if any upgrade promotions exist (e.g., occasionally, there are bundle offers targeted at upgraders).
The TM7’s “deal” is simply being new (and we do expect in the future there will be bundles or maybe 0% events for it, but likely not until much later once early demand is met).
How to Actually Place Your Order (Step by Step)
So you’ve decided which model and how to pay – how do you place the order in the UK/Ireland? It typically goes like this:
Fill Out an Order Form or Provide Details: Your Thermomix Advisor will collect some details from you to initiate the order. This usually includes your full name, delivery address, contact number, email, and your chosen order options (model, payment method). On our website, for example, we have an order form for TM7 where you select if you want finance or pay in full, etc., and provide your info. You can also do this via a phone call or email with the Advisor if you prefer.
Finance Application (if applicable): If you’re doing a finance plan, you’ll next complete the finance application (as discussed in the finance section above). If 0% in-house split payments (like 3, 6, 12 month with deposit) were offered, that might just be a simple form of ID verification since it’s handled internally by Vorwerk. If it’s through Novuna, you go through their online application. Note: Financing is subject to approval – most people with fair credit and stable residence will be fine, but it’s not guaranteed. Should financing be declined, you could consider a shorter term or different method, or a co-applicant if appropriate. Your Advisor can guide you on alternatives.
Confirmation and Payment: Once any finance is approved (or immediately if paying in full), your Advisor will place the order in the official system. If paying by card, the payment is processed (you might get a secure payment link to enter your card details – it will be an official Vorwerk payment portal). For finance, once you e-sign the agreement, the order is confirmed without immediate payment (the finance company pays Vorwerk and you’ll pay the finance company per schedule). You will receive an order confirmation email from Thermomix/Vorwerk UK with an order number and details of your purchase. At this point – congratulations – your Thermomix is officially on its way!
Delivery: For TM7 pre-orders, as discussed, you’ll be waiting for stock. When your pre-ordered unit is ready, you’ll be notified by your Advisor or directly via email about the impending delivery.
After Delivery – Welcome Session: When your Thermomix arrives, your Advisor will usually reach out to ensure everything went smoothly. Most Advisors (ourselves included) offer a free introductory demo or “cook-along” session after you’ve got your Thermomix, to help you get started. We’ll show you how to set it up, navigate Cookidoo, and even walk you through a simple recipe so you feel confident using it from day one. We also add our customers to WhatsApp support groups and share invites to cooking classes/workshops regularly. Remember, buying through an Advisor means you have a support network – you’re not on your own. Take advantage of this to get the most out of your new gadget!
Booking a Demo (Try Before You Buy)
If you’re reading this and still undecided, or you simply want to see the Thermomix in action first, know that you can book a free Thermomix demo in the UK or Ireland easily. We offer free virtual demonstrations via Zoom, or in-person demos (at your home or ours) across the UK & Ireland. This is a no-obligation demo – you get to watch (or help) as we prepare a couple of recipes with the Thermomix, so you can taste the results and see how the machine works. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, compare TM6 vs TM7 live, and make sure it’s right for you.
For many, one demo is enough to fall in love with the Thermomix’s capabilities – from making a soup to kneading bread dough or whipping a sorbet, all in one appliance. If you’d like a demo before purchasing, just hit the “Book a Demo” link on our site or contact us to schedule a convenient time. We can demo the TM6 and the TM7 features. And if you have family or friends interested, you can invite them to join the demo too.
Remember: a demo is free and part of the Thermomix Advisor service. Whether you end up buying or not, you’ll at least learn some new recipes or cooking tips from the session. So don’t hesitate to request a demo – we’re passionate about sharing the Thermomix experience!
Final Thoughts: Get Cooking with Thermomix
Buying a Thermomix is an exciting decision that can truly revolutionize your home cooking. With flexible options like financing, bundle deals, and personal guidance from Advisors, owning a Thermomix in the UK or Ireland has never been more accessible. Here are some key takeaways and final tips as you prepare to purchase:
Check Current Offers: Promotions can change monthly. If those are important to you, take advantage while they last. TM7 is newer and scarce, so its main “offer” is simply that you can pre-order it to secure one.
Decide on Finance vs Full Payment: If you can pay in full, great – it’s quick and you might get an extended warranty (for TM6). If not, finance is your friend – it allows you to start cooking with Thermomix right away and spread the cost comfortably. You can consider using a 0% credit card to mimic the effect of 0% financing.
Use Your Advisor: We are here to help you through every step. Don’t be afraid to ask questions – whether it’s about how finance works, what recipes you can make, or even comparing Thermomix to other appliances. We want you to feel confident in your purchase. Buying through an Advisor means you’re never alone – we provide ongoing support, not just a sales transaction.
After Purchase – Enjoy the Benefits: Once you have your Thermomix, be sure to explore Cookidoo (thousands of guided recipes at your fingertips) and join our community workshops or social media groups. The value of Thermomix is not just the hardware, but the ecosystem of recipes and support. We love seeing new owners become seasoned Thermomix chefs! 🔥
